Another Long Term Recovery milestone was reached today. The temporary courthouse opened and the 1st commissioners court was held this morning at the new facility. The temporary courthouse is located at 2840 Highway 35 North, Rockport, Texas. Well done John Strothman and his team for getting the county in their new home.

The Texas Well Owner Network will offer free water well screening and an educational program particularly targeted to coastal counties because wells may have been impacted by floodwaters from Hurricane Harvey. Port Aransas, TX – Today, Texas Governor Greg Abbot presented several Coastal Bend cities and counties, including Aransas County, with checks to assist in paying for the county’s cost of 10% of debris removal after Hurricane Harvey.
